| ABOUT US |
The Beginning We've shown horses for more than 20 years. On a trip to purchase a horse in 1992, we found our first Border Collie. My husband and I walked past a kennel that had 6 month old puppies. The puppies were so adorable that we asked if they were for sale. The owner was unsure what breed she was because he hadn't had her long. We called her Mallie. We later found out she was a sable split face Border Collie. She was one of the smartest dogs I've ever owned. Sadly we lost her after hurricane Ivan in 2004. After Mallie, I bought another Border Collie named Katie who I showed in conformation. Ever since my first run around the ring I've been hooked. Katie made showing fun and exciting! I've enjoyed many adventures, made new friends and it's now become a family affair with the children showing in juniors. My daughter Ashley and I are not only showing our dogs but handling for others as well. If you're looking for a handler, please don't hesitate to contact me. To learn more please visit our Handler Page. At Wishlyn Kennels our Border Collies go everywhere we go. I always feel guilty ever leaving one at home when we go on vacation. We always make room. It's always an adventure filled with cherished memories. |
